officially the start of fall. funny thing is, it's snowing in the mountains which only means it's just around the corner. I was checking out photos from October of last year and saw my first snow shots on the 8th.
I am so not ready for winter. Not for 7 months of it.
We will be taking a vacation to a very warm destination mid-winter although I say that every year and every year there's an excuse not to go. The main excuse being money.
I'm going to try and look at it as an investment this year. An investment to ourselves, our relationship, our well-being.

nicole - 7 months of winter of winter = evil in my book. i’m good for about one bout with snow and then i’m itching for better weather. although, tights with a nice skirt is a nice change come fall.

dani - Ooohh yes, take a vacation for sure. With everything falling down around us, the one thing I’m darn sure about when Neil goes back to work is saving so many pennies a week until Neil and I can take some sort of little getaway. I think trips of any and all kind are very necessary! We haven’t had one in sooo long.

Peonies and Polaroids - Seven months of winter sounds so very familiar. You take that holiday, it is absolutely an investment. We’re doing the same in the spring, it terrifies me to be taking time off and to be spending money but it’s an investment, it’s an investment, it’s an investment (that was the voice in my head breaking free…)
