an afternoon in Palmer

Tyler and I drove out to visit his grandparents last week. The drive out to their home in Palmer is beautiful in the summer. We stopped along the way and snapped a few photos. I’ve pretty much given up on getting that perfect toddler portrait of my son and started to appreciate capturing him at his best. He is high energy and determined and keeps me on my toes.

Genevieve - I don’t know if there is such a thing as a ‘perfect’ toddler portrait, especially with high energy ones…I feel the same way about Violet right now, she sneers and roars and makes all kinds of faces at the camera, nothing ‘pretty’ or ‘girly’ like I imagined, but I’m snapping away anyway because that’s who she is right now, and who cares what any other snobby studio-and-preppy-clothes-only photographers think ;)

Genevieve - Oops, forgot to include: Tyler is so CUTE! And big already, looks like he’s going to be a woodsy outdoorsman for sure :)

AbbyS - Tina, my favorite photo is of the one of Tyler! He is getting SO BIG!! Such an adorably cute little man! :)
